Phillipa’s background is in communications with experience in branding, PR, trend forecasting and B2C marketing. Originally from London, Phillipa moved up to Newcastle to study Fashion Communication at Northumbria University where she developed her passion for brand development.
During her time at university, Phillipa generated a campaign strategy in partnership with OPR for their client – British shoe brand Dr.Martens. Her campaign “We create, We Move” gained her a work placement with OPR and the opportunity for her promotional film to be played in one of the company’s stores.
In her final year at university, she produced a detailed trend report on Generation Z and their relationship with the macro-trend “backlash branding”. This report has made Phillipa a key expert in the behaviour of this particular consumer market and has developed a keen interest in consumer behaviour research.
Since moving to the North East, Phillipa has worked with local agencies Precept and OPR, where she developed her skills in brand analysis, content development and social media management. As of November 2017, she has used her skills with a variety of freelance clients; before focusing her time on co-creating NOISE Creative as the company’s Creative Director.
